Celia also writes humour. Unraveled is a lighthearted mainstream novel written around her imaginary island of Gale in the Canadian Southern Gulf Islands. She is currently working on the second Gale Island novel, Weeds That Work and Pots of Goodness.

Her latest release, The Winnowed Woman, from Twilight Times Books is about a woman's struggle to survive emotionally after a life-changing event.

Celia has tutored for Writers Online Workshops www.writersonlineworkshops.com for a number of years and thoroughly enjoys the interaction and personal contact with her students. Currently, she tutors Focus on the Short Story, Fiction Fundamentals, and the Little Red Writing Workshop. Anyone can enroll in one of these classes and enjoy a few weeks of personal interaction with the author. Celia is penning a non-fiction book Writing Creatively, which will be released this summer. Harvesting the notes she has taken while tutoring, she addresses the stumbling blocks that challenge new writers. In this book, she shares all she has learned so far about the craft of writing.

Celia enjoys reading, gardening, knitting and all sorts of creative projects.
